About Me

Hi, I'm Mary, a licensed massage therapist and cosmetologist, specializing in skin and body care.  Passionate about the healing arts, I have studied extensively several different modalities of massage and bodyworks. With over 20 years experience in skin and body care, I am an expert in body waxing, including waxing of the bikini area.  My body treatments include back, facials, body wraps and body exfoliation. My certifications in cosmetology include Microdermabrasion, and glycolic peels. 

Massage has always come very natural for me. From a young age, I was good with my hands and gravitated towards using touch as comfort. Later, working as a cosmetologist, all my clients raved about their shampoo because I would give them a lengthy head massage.   As a student of the Alpha Health Institute, of Knoxville, I received extensive training in anatomy and physiology, pathology, Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, cranial sacral and more.  Over my years in massage I have honed my skills and abilities with my certifications in Erik Dalton's Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques and Advance Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques. I also, specialize in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, Prenatal, Swedish-Esalen and Trigger Point Therapy.

Each massage session is customized to honor individual needs to effectively relieve stress and pain. It is my intention to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I incorporate varying styles and influences into my deep tissue base bringing freshness to each customized massage session. My touch has been described as deep and nurturing. I am skilled in finding those troublesome spots and easing your pain and discomfort. I believe that healing is a process, and a patient, nurturing touch is the best path to results.

No matter which modality you choose, it is my intention to guide you to a place of deep relaxation so that you can return to your life with renewed energy and exuberance! It's like a mini vacation from stress!!!
